LP Day Portraits part 2

There is a side benefit of taking everyone's portrait at this event. It means that everyone will have at least one picture of themselves, and therefore I am free to take photos of whatever I want and don't need to take candid shots which usually don't work as well and need more post-processing.
My wife took this one we bumped into other employees while I was photographing whatever I wanted at the zoo.

LP Day Portraits

Every year at our office "sports" day I take portraits of the staff that attend. I wonder if they are appreciated or enjoyed as any thank you 'could just be sucking up to the boss'. This year I received the complement from one person that he was using an old photo I had taken as his facebook profile picture.

I was once told by the portraitist Gabor Szilasi that the first photo is the skill of the person having their picture taken, and it is only the subsequent ones that represent the photographer's skill. I follow his advice and take only one photo and if it doesn't work I can blame them!
