Temporary Art

I listened to Eleanor Wachtel on the Arts where she talked to the performance artist Marina Abramovic, and was fascinated with the concept that the memory of the experience is the only "tangible" proof on its existence.  Andy Goldsworthy photographs his installations for posterity. I found the above artwork attached to a wall on my walk home. I photographed it, as I can't imagine it surviving for long.
