Gone Series
For the last few years I have been making a series of cards which I sell at Art Etc (the Montreal West Christmas Fair). My wife suggested local establishments that no longer exist - I was surprised to see how many - in such a short time - I am not that convinced anyone will buy them - so I made only five sets.

Recently I heard a comment by a photographer that the retoucher is more important than the photographer. I think you can add the person that gets everyone together as well (my wife for this picture)
Oak Leaves
I came across these beautiful oak leaves. Somehow they can stay pristine on the ground longer than other leaves; but the reason I took the photo was that I thought that the areas without leaves looked like grey oak leaves.
Was this my inspiration?
In my artwork I often take multiple images of one subject and assemble them in a grid. I was at my local depanneur and looked at the surveillance cameras in a different light.

Last night I was asked by a fellow camera club member if I would allow him to do a video of clouds (the subject of my last club submission) I said obviously no problem - but almost laughed this morning when I started to post this weeks video - last year the winning video was of Marianna's pool! I certainly didn't think I needed to ask permission.

Usually my shadow in the photo doesn't depict me as an observer as much as this one does. Usually my shadow is more passive?!
