We woke up the second day in Heidelberg to a beautiful snowfall - it didn't stop the hardy Germans from their sporting activities

One thing that surprises me with my photography is when I find an interesting subject and feel that I take so many photos and when I review in Lightroom I almost always have less than a dozen. Maybe I am being too considerate to my travelling companion (wife)

two of the first photos that I took in Heidelberg and thought it would be an architectural bonanza for my photography - but didn't really turn out to be , possibly because the roads are too narrow to get a good perspective .

using my trick of taking a photo at 1/1000 of a second- don't have much time to compose and you get quite a few telephone poles in the middle of the frame - but these three photos make me feel that it was worth trying.

Not sure that is what these are - but they are weird either way!
Body Bags for Dolls
a little bit creepy, especially as this is not that far from where they found the decapitated man and just last week another body was found in a lane way in the area of my lunch time walks (although we have not heard if it was foul play or not)
Street pattern
This is now a very common type picture for instagram, and I am sure the old time photographers say that it is of no value. Could it be that they think we are ignoring the forest for the trees?
