I woke up early as usual and snapped a photo of my wife still asleep in the bed below.
What you can do with coloured lighting
I believe that the stay at the hotel will become better and better in my memory. I hardly remember that there was so much variety or colour for that matter.

While in Fort Lauderdale saw this wedding on the beach - looks like they made a destination wedding to keep the numbers low - and it worked better than expected

we have had a very beautiful "snowy" winter for photographs; but everything looks black and white so I spent some time looking for colour to add to the pictures

Architectural shot I should have submitted?
My poorly scoring image on the blog yesterday did not meet one of the judges definition of architecture; so there is a chance this wouldn't either.
drowning my sorrows
after leaving the camera club with the lowest score of the night - I was greeted with this beautiful fog - not the best shot but you can get the feeling.
Coming in last
at the camera club last week the above image came in last in the architecture competition. As you can see it really affected what I photograph as I already knew the scores when I took the lower photograph
Florida - one big tow away zone
I can not believe how many signs there are in the USA. I remarked on this phenomenum in my posts from upstate NY, but even worse here - seems if you have ten potential parking spots you need ten no parking signs.

at the opening of the Peru exhibit at The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts - hard to judge nowadays when you are allowed to take photographs and when you aren't. Maybe everyone has just given up - because when I know you can't - they still do!
