On the blog I expect to be winter and Christmas Centric
Most of the year I have been doing different Montreal West, Venice and our House over the Years slideshows, but other ones do sneak in - this month will have curtains and windows (of course some are from the other three topics)
I am trying to upload a different book every Thursday - these are the latest four. - there are now 82 books there

In October I attended a number of field trips help by the lakeshore Camera Club - here an image of Serge who did a lot of the organizing at the scrapyard that I took a ton of pictures at
I continue with our Venice trip, different rooms around the house and Montreal West slideshows. In November I will also have a couple of others including the doors of the Royalmount Mall.
On the collage front I continue to upload different book projects
OCTOBER UPDATE
It is the Fall so I expect that I will have some photos of the colours at the cottage
on the slideshow front I am continuing with Montreal West, our house and Venice but as it is October I will have another Halloween slideshow again this year.
On my links to publications page I made a sheet of slideshows that fit my camera club’s “road” theme.

No plans of going anywhere so I expect and mixture of cottage and city images this month
The slideshows sticking to Venice, our house and Montreal West Scenes. Our ne arena is set to be ready very soon, so I am posting a slideshow in memory of our old arena
On my adobe books I found a way to get my blurb books uploaded, so I have started with all my blog books from previous years.
On the blog I will be revisiting 2009 when we had a nice visit in New Brunswick and of course there are more opportunities to photograph in the summer.
Continuing my theme of Venice and Montreal West slideshows, I start the month with how a Montreal West BBQ volunteer changes over the years.
On the blog I will devote one week to images from June 2009 at the time I did not have a blog. In those days I was so excited about photographing and would go out on mini-excursions almost every week, and now when I look I see so many new discoveries.
I also noticed I haven’t updated my blog about my collage projects since February, so I plan to devote a week of posts to that.
My 2025 slideshows are mostly from around the house over the years, Montreal West retrospectives and then some from our trip to Venice.
Our camera club has a photo rally ( type of scavenger hunt) that I signed up for - this was our team photo from 2013. The last time I went was 2016. I will show some of my pictures that I take that day

The blog will document our road trip to Florida as well as my week re-visiting my March 2009 photo journeys.
My weekly slideshows are continuing with the Venice, Montreal West and the home front scenes.
In 2025 I am posting one weeks worth of blog posts from 2009 another year further back from before I had a blog ( in 2024 I went back to 2020) I was still working and photographing around my office in those days.
This is the house in Montreal West I have lived in since I bought my first digital camera. In 2025 I will be looking at the various transformations in the rooms over the course of the years in my slideshows.
JANUARY UPDATE
We visited the Catskills and New York City which gives anyone a number of images to take and use
On the slideshow front I have been living at the same house in Montreal West for the whole time I have been photographing digitally and consequently I have accumulated numerous images from around the house and the town. So a lot of the themes for 2025 will come from these locations.
I am still collaging but I don’t want to put too much on my blog so I will just be being uploading more books to my adobe dashboard - if you go to the publications page of the website there are links to all the books.
Of course there will be a lot about the Christmas season as it is December
The slide shows will have a heavy emphasis on Montreal West and the house that I live in there.
The blog will talk about my getting ready for and some past experiences with my yearly sale in Montreal West
Included in the month’s slideshows will be one showing my wife enjoying the Biennale in Venice.
Predicting that the month will be mostly observations from our Venice trip.
I will start posting my various points of interest from the Town of Montreal West
Not planning too much for September but expect to be using photos from our cottage walks.
For my Flickr one minute slideshows I have been working with photos from over the years on the different aspects of our home like the front yard or the various rooms in the house.
I expect that there will be a post or two from St Denis sur Richelieu where we have been visiting a guide friend for more than ten years - a photo of their view from 2009
The game plan is to have more or less nature slide shows this month
My monthly project is going through all my printed photos from the last 20 or so years and throwing out most and seeing what to do with the others.
My Monthly flashback to 2010 will be about our trip to the Maritimes
One of the slideshows will be in keeping of the travel theme
The collage project I am working on is British Barristers being coupled with Art Deco illustrations on a background of Frans Lanting photographs
We visited my sister in the Catskills and it is always a good place for me to take some photos
One of my weekly slideshows on my Flickr page will use the flashback to 2010 theme of Paris
Working on my collection of Montreal West images - possibly for a book, but for my ammual sale in Novemebr in any case.
The flashback to 2010 will be our trip to London
On e of the slideshows will be a novel method of grouping - every image in the show will have the same file number
I found as earlier copy of Gardner Through the Ages that I hope to use for my analysis of how the image Dejeuner sur l’herbe has been written about changes with every edition.
