well two photographers... at the vernissage of the new photography exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts - Alain Chagnon being photographed in front of his series taken in a tavern. I thoroughly enjoyed his work and felt it was the most cohesive series.

Flower Bums
the Lakeshore Camera Club flora group has put forth a challenge to submit your best flower bum photos. I found out that this is from behind (makes sense). Above my recent attempt and below from 2007 when I still took a lot of photos of flowers.
I liked the idea and may try a few more before we have to submit

Alouettes Football Game last Thursday
It started to pour during the second quarter and my son and I ran for cover.
I wanted to capture how hard it was raining and waited for the opportunity when no one was coming in to photograph the one on the top. The one below has tthe people streaming in. Somehow both photos don't quite work- seems one person coming in may have ben the best.

I saw these patterns created by the reflections of the windows and took the photo, and in Lightroom enhanced the contrast. This photo is an example of why I love having my camera and that you can see something new in the same place if you keep your eyes open
