Graffiti Tag
....................................... There is a back lane that I
periodically walk down and
take pictures of the graffiti.
They seem to get updated often.
Now after someone was killed
in Montreal over a graffiti tag,
I wonder if I have
to worry about discovering a body...

First Purchaser
friend David that thirty or so years ago I sold my first photo.
I don't think he expected me to stop for 25 years! I recently
had sent my slides to be scanned in India (scancafe) and
I wondered if I could remember what I sold him. Couldn't -
so I have posted a photo of him from that time.
Next time I see him I will have to ask if he remembers.
Freeman Patterson on CBC Ideas
As you may know I follow a number of podcasts, one of them being CBC Best of Ideas. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had a show dedicated to Freeman Patterson. I recommend listening to it. He is not your normal photographer; as he has a Master of Divinity Degree
I took a workshop with him... but never took a photo of him- Wikipedia photo on right
scroll up - I think they keep the podcasts for four weeks

I know you could just go to Ted.com and search photography; but this is faster.
Judicious use of text
Just another skill that is required to be a photographer!
The picture is from Bill Owens Suburbia and the caption is (and I like it)
"I wanted Christina to learn some responsibility for cleaning her room, but it didn't work"
