Two photos from my walk home
Walked home from the office - my two favourite photos from the day.
Black and White conversion
At the Hungarian Ball I took a few photos with my S95. At my camera club the week before- the presenter mentioned that the only time she uses black and white is when the colour image sucks. I was amazed that even though both these images are poor - something can be done with the black and white version to save it.
Not quite street photography
I was at the Hungarian Ball last Saturday and was fascinated with the backs of these two dresses.
I asked their permission; but didn't have to worry that they wouldn't look natural.

I am started to get a backlog of useless doors - I just can't believe that once you notice them - you can't help but notice them everywhere.

Lynne Cohen Tribute
Another tribute to Lynne Cohen
The red is the poster for the her exhibit at the McCord Museum. I recommend going - but it is not a very large exhibit - only 12 or so works. At least for photographers they have another exhibit on Montreal cityscapes taken with a pin hole camera that although I wasn't wild about it - it was worth seeing.
She followed us the whole way
This girl did such a good job; and in my mind really fit the part - keeping us in line etc.
Some of what people in the Parade see
I only took eight photos while walking. These are my favourite two. It is very different walking in the parade because you really hardly see any of the parade; and you really shouldn't be the one photographing.
